NEC offers the SV9100 in two variations to meet the needs of the smallest businesses to those with almost a thousand employees:

The SV9100E is for small to medium businesses that wish to take full advantage of what IP and Unified Communications has to offer.

The SV9100S is for small businesses that just want the basics, but also want a system that will grow with their company and will migrate to an SV9100E when ready. Unified communications (UC) refers to the integration of communication tools that help people exchange ideas and do their jobs more effectively. These communication tools facilitate synchronous communication and include the integration of real-time enterprise communication services such as instant messaging (chat), presence information, voice (including IP telephony), mobility features (including extension mobility and single number reach), audio, web & video conferencing.

The most common UC starting point is VoIP. Once you’ve established that, you can include other UC options, like messaging, presence, video, chat, and mobile collaboration tools. Your UC deployment will take more than just some telephones and a chat client. Behind the scenes, your network will need to be prepared to support these additional services.

UC Suite gives you and your employees access to the latest productivity enhancing communications applications, such as user presence, instant messaging (IM), video chat, and a multimedia softphone. The UC Suite application can be installed on your Windows PC or run in a supported browser window. The web client is supported on Windows & Mac computers and is a favorite among IT staff as it doesn’t need to be installed on a user’s PC – just open a URL and go. With the UC Suite and its advanced UC applications, businesses are able to collaborate more easily and provide customers the attention they deserve in today’s increasingly mobile world.
